Mr. Sandy Toes
Spring is turning into summer pretty quickly around here. May has actually been a great month for us to be outside and enjoy the backyard. But it was looking a bit empty out there. So Mommy found a sandbox for you. A wooden one that required some assembly (and some help in the form of a drill from Daddy).
We went out and got eight bags of play sand the other day and Daddy dumped it all in last night. Voila!
Oh, wait, before we get to the rest of the sandbox photos, I had to share a hilarious moment. On Monday night, Daddy got you ready for bed and had you in your jammies. You decided that you wanted, very badly, to wear your old Thomas pajamas, which you'd outgrown. After listening to plenty of whining from you, Daddy gave in and let you put them on. Long sleeves and all. Then it was bedtime and you were all settled in. A few minutes later you started yelling, "INSIDE OUT, DADDY! INSIDE OUT! I WANT THEM OUTSIDE OUT!" Turns out you were troubled by the discarded shirt from your previous jammies. It was on the floor, inside out indeed. But Daddy made sure it was outside out. Just the way it should be.
