A day in your life

Today's funniest moment came at breakfast when I was telling you and Daddy what must have been a very important thing. You looked slyly up at me with a grin and announced, "Daddy not listening to you." And he wasn't. He was reading the paper and ignoring me totally.
We went to dinner tonight. The three of us. I love when we're together as a family. You asked for chicken tenders, but pilfered Daddy's Olga's snackers instead. You ate the entire bowl and then dutifully placed your chicken in the to-go box at the end of the meal.
At bedtime, as usual, you had to gather the things that you NEED to have with you. These included a pair of shorts, a pillowcase from your drawer, your huggy bear and heart bear, and a firetruck. You only cried once before falling asleep. All worn out from a long day of playing. With Elizabeth Mitchell crooning softly in the background.
Sweet dreams, my little man.
