You are official...again!

That document you're holding (and hiding behind) here is your newly minted Certificate of Citizenship.
Woo-hoo!
Nine long months after I submitted the forms and the check, you finally had your day with the Homeland Security people at the Ford Museum downtown. We can now get you a passport and a new social security card so you can slave away at a job sometime in the future.
We celebrated (sans Daddy, who had to scoot back to work) by going to the Amway Grand Plaza and grabbing a bite at G.P. Sports. (Your bite included astronaut ice cream from the museum.)
So glad that's over.
The rest of the week was busy too. We drove to Kalamazoo for the weekend and attended our annual family party at Aunt Nancy's house. You loved playing with the toys she had scattered about. And eating cookies of course! I did my best to keep you away from your older cousins who were tearing apart the basement and causing a ruckus. You stuck with Callihan, Elijah and Lily for the most part. I snapped no photos because I just wasn't in the mood.
On Sunday we went to Miller Auditorium and watched A Year with Frog & Toad, based on some of your favorite stories. You were hopping (haha!) all over the place beforehand, but you sat quietly on Mommy's lap through the entire show.
Tomorrow we have your holiday sing-a-long at school, then we're off for five whole days of holiday togetherness!
(Below are two additional examples of you hiding from the camera: last night's adventure with the tape measure and the night before as you perused your new favorite book from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ron.)
