I love this photo. Makes me giggle. You so rarely willingly look at my camera and smile these days. Usually you just turn your head and grin at me wickedly, knowing you've foiled my efforts.

I love this photo, too, because it reminds me that even though I called Daddy a little while ago to complain about how annoying you were being today, I still adore you and your shenanigans. The annoying stuff is simply a by-product of being home sick. You've been cooped up in this house for two days and it's wearing on all of us. The boredom. The whining. The demanding that I run upstairs and down to fetch you food and water, your majesty. And the TV. Oh, the TV. You've never watched so much. And I'm letting you watch pretty much whatever you want. My standards are eroding.

And I love this photo because you were sitting on the toilet and it seems so cheeky to photograph your kid while he's doing his business. But the light was fantastic. So there ya have it!
